A Christmas wallet became Sparrowhawk's favourite
In 2014, Robyn wanted the perfect Christmas gift for her husband.
Fiona had just launched Sparrowhawk Leather when Robyn said she was seeking a handmade, personalised wallet.
Her husband preferred a zipped coin compartment and plenty of room for credit and EFTPOS cards. Robyn was delighted with the black calf leather wallet inner design Fiona recommended. Robyn liked that it also featured a card display pocket and hidden note compartment.
Knowing that her husband also liked a conservative, high quality wallet, Robyn commissioned Fiona to craft a Medium Brown hand dyed outer over the stylish black inner. Embossed initials and black Irish linen hand-stitching would complete Robyn's unique wallet gift.
Robyn received the wallet prior to Christmas and wrote "I just wanted to thank you for making my Husband's Wallet. He loves it and I am particularly impressed with your high level of attention to detail and your outstanding service."
Since Robyn's husband's wallet, this men's Currency & Coin Billfold wallet has been Sparrowhawk's most popular design. Fiona has handmade over 90 personalised men's wallets, in a number of hand dyed colours, mostly to be given as gifts, with some ordered by the gentleman purchasers for themselves.

Each Sparrowhawk Handmade Men's wallet is presented in a gift box, together with Fiona's hand embossing & dye sample. Fiona also hand writes a card detailing how the person ordering the gift specified the dye colour and initials, and how Fiona made the wallet.
